Most sporting events charge an entry fee for the area controlled by the promoter plus extras if you want a grandstand seat or access to paddocks or special viewing areas. The Isle of Man TT races and Classic TT races are different since the 37.7 mile course provides many locations where public spaces are alongside the track or friendly landowners permit viewing from, and in some cases parking on, their land. There are also some businesses - including 13 pubs - around the course which allow free viewing from their sites. If you prefer to have some guaranteed facilities, there are grandstands and fan-zones around the TT Course, where, often for a fraction of the costs of a major Grand Prix event, you can enjoy a reserved seat with great viewing, wifi, results screens, catering and the all-important toilet facilities.
