The Manx Motor Cycle Club is pleased to confirm the dates for the 2025 Manx Grand Prix, which will take place from Sunday, August 17th, to Monday, August 25th, 2025, on the iconic Isle of Man TT Mountain Course.
This historic event, renowned for its thrilling races and rich heritage, is set to attract fans and competitors from around the world eager to witness the excitement that only the Manx Grand Prix can deliver.
The 2025 edition promises to deliver more races as part of the fresh, action-packed modern race programme that will see the event return to its clubman sporting roots. This shift focuses on developing the next generation of TT riders while upholding the traditions of the famous event going into its 102nd year. The Manx Grand Prix has always been a pivotal stepping stone for aspiring racers, and this new structure aims to enhance that role.
The six days of practising will commence on Sunday, 17th August 2025, allowing riders to familiarise themselves with the challenging and exhilarating Mountain Course ahead of the four-race schedule across the action-packed Summer Bank Holiday weekend. The 2025 Manx will draw to a close on Monday, 25th August, with the headline Senior MGP Race, which promises to be a thrilling conclusion to the week’s events.
With the Supersport and Supertwin machines now at the heart of the programme, spectators can expect intense competition showcasing the skill and dedication of motorcycle road racing’s rising stars. Including these modern categories will elevate the excitement as fans witness the next generation of talent competing on one of the most challenging circuits in the world. The new schedule aims to maintain the spirit of the Manx Grand Prix while also evolving to provide a fresh experience for racers and fans alike.
A key change for the upcoming event is the removal of classic racing from the Manx Grand Prix schedule. This decision allows the reintroduction of the Classic TT, which will run in tandem as a standalone event in the Isle of Man’s racing calendar. This strategic move aims to sustain a second Mountain Course race event, allowing the Manx Motor Cycle Club to concentrate on modern racing categories and its long-standing tradition of nurturing the sport’s rising stars.
