It's early August here on the Isle of Man, and you can already feel the buzz in the air. The countdown is officially on for one of the most anticipated events of the year: the 2025 Classic TT.

This year is extra special. We’re not just celebrating classic machinery; we’re
honouring a legend. This year marks 25 years since Joey Dunlop’s final, awe-inspiring treble victory in 2000.

Whether you’re a lifelong fan who was here on the hedgerows back then, or you’ve
discovered the legend since, the island is pulling out all the stops. Here’s everything you
need to know to make the most of an unforgettable week.

The Main Event: Joey Dunlop – 25 Years On

The heart of the celebration is undoubtedly the tribute to ‘Yer Maun’. Get ready to step back in time and relive the magic of that unforgettable week in 2000.

  • Joey Dunlop Pop-Up Exhibition & Cinema
    When: Wednesday, 20th – Friday, 29th August
Where: Classic TT Fan Zone at the TT Grandstand (inside the Mercury Club)
What to See: This is the centrepiece. Joey’s treble-winning machines take
centre stage, joined by his iconic yellow helmet, leathers, trophies, and
personal items that bring the man to life. You’ll also see memorabilia from
fellow 2000 podium finishers John McGuinness MBE and Michael Rutter. The
pop-up cinema will be screening footage from those incredible races.
  • The TT Podcast Live: Inside the 2000 Classic

    When: Thursday, 28th August
Where: Classic TT Fan Zone at the TT Grandstand
What’s Happening: Don’t miss a special edition of The TT Podcast, recorded
live inside the exhibit with guests who witnessed and played a part in that
extraordinary week. It also features a ‘Behind the Lens’ session with
photographer Stephen Davison, sharing the stories behind his iconic shots
    from 2000.

  • A Poignant Tribute Lap
    When: Friday, 29th August
Where: The legendary TT Mountain Course
What’s Happening: The celebrations will reach a moving conclusion as
Michael Dunlop MBE pays tribute to his uncle. He’ll ride a replica Honda SP1,
sporting replica leathers and helmet, to recreate one of the most iconic
moments in TT history. A sight not to be missed.
