Qualifying week is the TT's best-kept secret. While race week gets the headlines, those in the know will tell you that qualifying is where the magic happens — quieter roads, the same paddock access, and riders pushing for pace with none of the crowds
The luxurious 4-star Comis Hotel is situated on the outskirts of Douglas, boasts stunning countryside views, and is surrounded by 200 acres of beautiful grounds.
Facilities include a luxury spa, a heated indoor swimming pool, a gymnasium, two restaurants, a bar, the island’s only Moet and Chandon Champagne bar, and a championship golf course and golf range. Plenty of free parking and free Wifi are available throughout the hotel.
Every room has an en-suite with a bath and separate shower, and is equipped with a king-size bed, desk, seating area, 42-inch flat-screen TV, tea and coffee making facilities, a hair dryer, mini fridge, and room safe.
You also don’t need to leave the grounds to eat well, with a choice of 2 exceptional restaurants serving up fine dining, gastro-pub fare, hearty breakfasts, and infamous afternoon tea. If you do wish to venture out, The Forge Smoke House and Grill is located just around the corner from the hotel, and with Douglas less than 10 minutes away by bus, there is an array of options near Douglas town centre additionally.
Nearby
The hotel is only a 10 minute drive from both Douglas, and the airport which is in the South of the island.
