The Southern 100 returns to the Billown Circuit this July — four days of qualifying sessions, road closures across the south of the Island, and racing on one of the most rider-friendly closed-road circuits in the world. Here’s the complete 2026 programme, day by day.
The Billown Circuit is a different beast to the Mountain Course — faster in places than you’d expect, unforgiving where the hedgerows close in, and genuinely intimate for spectators. Whether you’re new to the Southern 100 or a regular making the annual pilgrimage, knowing the schedule inside out is half the battle. Roads close on short notice, sessions run tight, and missing a race because you misjudged the timing is the kind of mistake that stings. We’ve laid out everything below.

Why the Southern 100 is Special
While the TT gets the global headlines, the Southern 100 has a fierce loyalty among those who’ve experienced it. The Billown Circuit runs through the villages of Castletown and Ballabeg in the south of the Island — a 4.25-mile lap of public roads that becomes one of the most intense short-circuit road races in the calendar for four days every July.
Spectating here is unlike anywhere else. The circuit is compact enough that you can watch from multiple vantage points in a single afternoon. The racing is close, the atmosphere is more relaxed than at TT Fortnight, and access to the paddock is easy. Five classes from Superbike to Sidecar means racing throughout every session, and the Solo Championship on the final afternoon is as good a showpiece as road racing gets.
