Tatum and Hewson to star in high-octane Isle of Man TT thriller.

The Manx hills are about to get a lot more star-studded.

The buzz across the Isle of Man has reached a fever pitch this week following reports that Bad Sisters star Eve Hewson has officially joined the cast of Amazon MGM Studios’ upcoming feature film, Isle of Man.

Hewson, who has garnered critical acclaim for her roles in The Knick and the hit Apple TV+ series Bad Sisters, is set to star alongside Hollywood heavyweight Channing Tatum. While plot details are being kept under wraps, the film is centred around the legendary intensity of the Isle of Man Tourist Trophy (TT) races, a subject Tatum has grown increasingly passionate about.

“Getting Ready”

The news follows a recent social media update from Tatum himself, where he teased fans that he is “getting ready” for his next big project on the island. Tatum is no stranger to the Mountain Course; he was spotted at the races last year, soaking in the atmosphere and meeting with teams and riders to ensure the film captures the true, visceral spirit of the world’s most famous road race.

Local Buzz and Recent Sightings

Island residents have already noted an increase in activity, with film crews recently spotted conducting final recces and planning sessions. This groundwork suggests that cameras are nearly ready to roll, bringing a massive production scale to our local roads and landmarks.

The project is a powerhouse collaboration between Tatum’s Free Association, Brad Pitt’s Plan B, and Entertainment 360. It’s being directed by Reid Carolin, who co-wrote the script alongside Jason Keller and Bryan Johnson.

With a docuseries titled The Greatest Race on Earth also in the works from the team behind Drive to Survive, it’s clear that the eyes of the world, and the lens of Hollywood, are firmly fixed on the Isle of Man.
