There are also several long-distance footpaths if you want to challenge yourself. The Raad Ny Foillan (Way of the Gull) coastal footpath measures in at over 100 miles, allowing you the opportunity to walk the entire island at your own pace in bite-size chunks, or if you’re feeling more adventurous, why not tackle it over five days or a week!  The 28 mile Millenium Way or the 14-mile Bayr Ny Skedden (Herring Way) trails are good alternatives if time isn’t on your side.
