So you’ve finally made it to the shores of the Isle of Man for your dream holiday. Whether it be for the Isle of Man TT, a motoring break with your car club or a mountain biking holiday with your friends, you’re going to need that all-important morning cup of coffee to help kickstart your day. The trouble is, like everywhere else; there’s an abundance of coffee shops to choose from. But, worry no more, as we’ve put together a list of our five favourite places to get your caffeine fix.

5

Cornerhouse Coffee - Port St Mary

First on our list is Cornerhouse Coffee, located in the southern village of Port St Mary. This local coffee shop provides customers with their much-needed caffeine fix along with some delicious cake and a fantastic view over Chapel Beach below. The surrounding area is also full of scenic walks and picturesque views across the harbour, perfect for walking off all that cake.

4

The Coffee Cottage - South Barrule Plantation

Located in the heart of South Barrule Plantation, the Coffee Cottage offers a warm welcome to all visitors with its roaring log fire, hot drinks and great food. Ideal for those looking for a more peaceful spot for their morning cuppa, the cottage is surrounded by a plethora of woodland paths and mountain bike trails alongside many adventure activities for the more daring visitors.

3

Roots By The Sea - Peel

Looking out over the bay towards the historic Viking fort of Peel Castle, Roots By The Sea offers visitors a cup of its own blend of locally roasted coffee with a view like no other. Frequented regularly by the mad few who dip in the Irish Sea year-round, you know the coffee is going to be good. Ideal spot for anyone visiting the west of the island needing a good cuppa.

2

The Shed - Laxey

Located beneath the cliffs of Laxey on the tranquil seafront, this award-winning double eatery offers visitors great coffee and freshly made food along with its well-loved homemade cold-pressed juices. With its idyllic spot tucked away overlooking Laxey Bay, the Shed is the perfect place to cosy up and relax with a nice hot brew; you may even spot the odd dolphin on a good day.

1

Conrod’s Coffee Shop - Ramsey

And finally, our top spot has to go to Conrod’s Coffee Shop located in Ramsey. Owned by none other than TT superstar Conor Cummins, the motorcycle-themed coffee shop is popular for locals and visitors alike. Serving up its very own Coffee Mann products to customers, Conrod’s is a must for all coffee lovers with a soft spot for bikes.
