Travel Executive
We are looking for a Travel Executive to join our travel team. This role involves effective collaboration with our sales and administration teams and reporting directly to the travel manager.
You will liaise daily with new and existing customers and support events like the Isle of Man TT.
Duke Travel, through its brands duketravel.com and Isle of Man DMC (destination management company), is an Isle of Man inbound tour operator and destination management specialist. We are proud to be an official travel partner of the Isle of Man TT races.
This is a varied, hands-on role, and on a typical day, you will:
+ Dealing with sales enquiries and customer queries.
+ Processing and managing bookings
+ Finalising trip details with customers, partners, guides and suppliers
+ Following up on customer feedback to ensure customer satisfaction
+ Updating customer information
+ Proactive sales tasks
+ General administration tasks
To be successful in this role, our ideal candidate will:
+ Have a positive attitude to looking after our customers & working as part of a team.
+ Have excellent customer service skills and the ability to build rapport with our customers both verbally & via email.
+ Previous sales experience or a similar role would be highly advantageous.
+ An interest in the Isle of Man TT and promoting and selling the Isle of Man as a year-round holiday destination would be highly advantageous but not essential.
+ Possess outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal & written.
+ Excellent attention to detail.
+ Have strong IT skills and an understanding of Google Suite (Sheets, Docs, Drive).
+ Be self-motivated, well organised with good time management & the ability to prioritise.
