ISLE OF MAN TT

Travelling to the Isle of Man TT during the qualifying week provides a unique and exciting experience with several benefits. The atmosphere is still buzzing with anticipation, but the crowds are smaller than race week, allowing you to explore the island and the event more freely.

Additionally, the qualifying week offers a closer, more intimate experience with the riders and teams, giving fans a behind-the-scenes look at preparations and the chance to interact with their favourite racers.

Often considered the TT’s best-kept secret, qualifying week delivers the same high-octane action as race week but with a more relaxed pace and greater access to the course. It’s an ideal time to soak in the TT spirit without the race week rush and discover this hidden gem of the event.

Monday 26 May 2025

Today, you travel to the Isle of Man. You will be met at your arrival port and transferred to your booked accommodation.

Depending on when you arrive, there is a qualifying session in the afternoon, or you have free time to explore or rest in your accommodation.

Tuesday 27 May 2025

Today’s qualifying session is at 6 pm, so you have plenty of time to explore the Island. During the morning, one of our reps will be on hand at the accommodation reception area to answer any questions you have about your trip before boarding a coach for a lap of the TT course, which will include commentary from a TT personality. You will have a great insight into the minds of the riders and witness the circuit up close.

In the late afternoon, you will be transferred from your accommodation to tonight’s viewing location at the TT grandstand in Douglas. You have an allocated seat in the grandstand.

Here, you can enjoy the atmosphere and visit the riders and temes in the TT paddocks before they take to the roads for qualifying. After the session, you will be transferred back to your accommodation.

Wednesday 28 May 2025

Qualifying takes place in the evening, starting at 6 pm. Therefore why not use your public transport pass and take the train to Castletown or the bus to Peel? Both destinations have lots to see and do, including castles and museums.

In the late afternoon, you will be collected from your hotel and transferred to the evening viewing location. Tickets are included at the viewing location, and after the evening’s events are completed, you will be transferred back to your accommodation.

Today, you have lots of free time to explore the Isle of Man while qualifying in the evening.

Why not visit the Manx Museum in Douglas, home to the TT Gallery, or take the tram from the northern end of Douglas promenade to Laxey to see the Great Laxey water wheel?

Friday 30 May 2025

Today, you say goodbye to the Isle of Man and the TT races as you start your journey home.
