With such a lush natural environment, Manx produce is world-class. Not only does the produce taste fantastic (as the many \u2018Good Taste Awards\u2019 will attest to), but with such low food miles, the Manx food scene is good for the environment!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">While you can find many of these specialities in the shops, many Manx restaurants are proud to serve the delicious Manx produce!<\/span>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<h2><b>Kippers<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If you\u2019re wanting to try a food steeped in heritage, there is nothing better than Manx Kippers. They\u2019ve definitely got a distinct flavour that <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">might <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">not be for everyone, but if you love them, you\u2019ll keep coming back for more. The best way to enjoy them is to head down to Peel, where kippers have been cured with the same traditional methods since 1884 at Moore\u2019s Kipper Factory. Paddy\u2019s smoked salmon, which is served in many of the island\u2019s eateries, has received a Great Taste Award- and it\u2019s very well deserved. The smoked salmon will undeniably add a touch of luxury to any breakfast you have on-island!<\/span>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<h2><b>Chips, Cheese and Gravy<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Often considered the island\u2019s \u2018unofficial national dish\u2019, chips, cheese and gravy is loved by many on the island- so much so, there\u2019s even a day dedicated to it! It\u2019s not sophisticated and it\u2019s definitely not pretty, but it combines three of the best ingredients known to man. Head to any of the island\u2019s chippies to enjoy this cheesy, carby and hearty treat!<\/span>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<h2><b>Fynoderee Gin\u00a0<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Fynoderee Distillery is best known on island for their incredible gins that feature foraged ingredients, including their seasonally inspired gins. For those who aren\u2019t fans of mother\u2019s ruin, Fynoderee also distils vodka and rum. While many of the island\u2019s pubs and restaurants serve Fynoderee spirits, the best place to try the drinks is Fynoderee\u2019s bar in Ramsey- who serve the gins in fabulous cocktails, alongside their Manx mezze boards.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Tip: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If you\u2019re looking for a nice holiday present, the Fynoderee bottles are beautifully designed with Manx-inspired illustrations. The Isle of Man Creamery cheddar cheeses are award-winning- and you\u2019ll know why as soon as you taste them. The cracked peppercorn, and garlic and chive mature cheddars are particular highlights- we wouldn\u2019t blame you if you make extra room in your luggage to take some back home.<\/span>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<h2><b>Close Leece Farm Charcuterie\u00a0<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">With 14 Great Taste Award Stars, local farm Close Leece produces world class charcuterie- which you can find in eateries across the island, including the cafe on the farm. If you\u2019re a fan of spice, try the Manx Thermonuclear Chorizo, which is definitely not for the faint hearted!<\/span>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<h2><b>Ale\u00a0<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This one needs no introduction.
