In 2023 the Isle of Man will celebrate two milestones on the Heritage Railways.
On Saturday, 01 July 2023, it will be the 150th Anniversary of the opening of the Isle of Man Railway Company Ltd, which first operated on 01 July 1873.
A special commemorative day to mark 130 years of the unique Manx Electric Railway, which first opened from Derby Castle to Groudle Glenn on 07 September 1893, will take place on 10 September 2023.
An eight-day festival from 23 July to 30 July 2023 will mark the two anniversaries of the award-winning heritage railways.
