Grand Fondo Cycle Sportive

Established in 2016, the Gran Fondo Isle of Man has grown to be an annual event featuring closed road racing with three different routes starting from a challenging 85 miles, 45-mile or 20 miles. 

Starting and finishing in Ramsey’s Mooragh Park, which also hosts the Riders Village, which features food and beverage options for riders and their supporters to enjoy, and a Service Course offering technical support and medical facilities. 

Gran Fondo Isle of Man is one of only two competitive events staged in the British Isles and is a qualification round for the 2023 UCI Gran Fondo World Championships. 

In 2022 the race had some familiar faces, with Mark Cavendish and Ben Swift of Team Ineos taking part. 

The 2023 Grand Fondo Isle of Man takes place on 22 July 2023.
