Road racing in the Isle of Wight? It’s going to happen. In October 2021. The Diamond Road Races are set to take place after the final round of the 2021 British Superbikes Championship.

The time trial format races will feature Supersport, Superbikes and lightweight machines, along with a sidecar demonstration lap.

The Diamond Races course is located in the South West of the Isle of Wight, forming a wide loop between the coast, Chale, Chale Green, Kingston, Shorwell and Brighstone. The roads vary in character from the wide scenic sweep of the Military Road that runs along the coast to the narrow high-hedged lanes linking the picturesque villages.

An onboard lap filmed with Steve Plater and James Hillier gives a vivid impression of what riders can expect in October 2021.

With the Isle of Wight an easy two-hour journey from the centre of London, and approximately 17-million people living within the catchment area, the races are bound to be popular with South Coast bike fans, and many others from across the UK and Europe.
